Dame Judith Rotimi Amaechi Wife of the Minister of Transport, Frank Edwards and Joe Praise storm Port Harcourt for Soteria Prayer and Worship Breakfast Service Hosted By Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs and Family Last Saturday

It was a day to remember in the capital city of Rivers State, Nigeria as the annual "Soteria Prayer and Worship Breakfast Service" took a different turn.
   The service which is hosted by popular Port Harcourt Lawyer, business executive and philanthropist. Chief Domu Lulu-Briggs, was held last Saturday  in the Atlantic Hall of the prestigious Hotel Presidential, Aba road, Port Harcourt.
   The likes of Joe Praise and Frank Edwards, alongside other political  dignitaries, were among the invited guests to witness and perform at the event which aim's to unite interdenominational worshipers and strengthen Christian heritage.

On her show on Thursday, a day before Bruce Jenner's blockbuster interview with Diane Sawyer aired, opinionated talkshow host, WendyWilliams slammed Bruce Jenner for living a lie for 65 years.

    "If this wasn’t an obligation due to my career, I wouldn’t watch" Wendy said of the upcoming show "I feel duped by Bruce… I don’t feel duped because he’s turning into a woman. I feel duped because he’s the same fame whore as the rest of the family. Bruce has a daughter who is 17, involved with a 25 year old father of one. And she's a high school drop out and she's messing with her face and her boobs, and her behind, way to early in life. Bruce has bigger fish to fry than turning into Belinda. He should have thought about [transitioning] before he had all the kids… Belinda, shame on you!"

Nigerian woman arrested for stabbing her husband to death in the US

35 year old Nigerian woman, Adebamiro Temitope, pictured left, has been arrested by the New Castle Police in Delaware, Philadelphia for stabbing her 37 year old Nigerian husband and father of her two children, Adeyinka Adebamiro to death over allegations of abuse and cheating.

The woman accused her husband of constant abuse and claimed he cheated on her with several women including her sister and their nanny's daughter.

'Skinny mom' who caused Instagram uproar gives birth to baby boy

30 year old US model, Sarah Stage, who caused quite a storm on social media with her pregnant-yet-toned physique, gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on April 14. He's been named James Hunter.

The model became popular on instagram by regularly posting pics showing off her tiny, barely-there pregnancy belly. In the pic above, she was nearly 9 months. Amazing stuff! Congrats to her.

Transgender actress Laverne Cox poses nude for Allure magazine

Orange Is The New Black star Laverne Cox, posed nude for the new issue of Allure magazine. The 30-year-old transgender actress rocked the shoot but said she'd initially said no to posing nude.

"I said no initially, thought about it, and said no again,' she told the publication. "But I'm a black transgender woman. I felt this could be really powerful for the communities that I represent. Black women are not often told that we’re beautiful unless we align with certain standards. Trans women certainly are not told we’re beautiful."

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Thursday in Abuja urged the United Nations to focus more on helping Nigeria with the rehabilitation and reconstruction of persons and communities affected by terrorism in Northern Nigeria rather than deploying an international force to the country.

Speaking at an audience with the Special Representatives of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa and Central Africa, Mohammed Ibn Chambas and Abdoulaye Bathily, President Jonathan expressed the view that UN intervention in Nigeria should not be based on Chapter 7 of the UN Charter, which relates to military enforcement  of peace, but on Chapter 8.   

Video: Maid in Nairobi caught on camera breastfeeding boss's baby

A newly employed maid in Kenya identified as Grace Mwikali Mwema has been arrested by the Kenyan police after she was caught on camera breastfeeding her boss's 9months old baby.

In the video which was aired on Kenya's Nairobi news, the nanny, who is a mother of a three month old child, is seen offering her breasts to the baby who sucked for a few seconds and then refused to continue. Seeing that the child was no longer cooperating, the house help dropped the child to play.

The child's mum had installed a nanny camera in her home to monitor the maid she'd employed just two days before the incident. She said when the nanny was confronted, she first claimed that the baby was the one playing with her breast but later admitted when she was told she'd been filmed doing the unnatural act. The woman called the police who arrested the maid and later posted the video to her Facebook page. See the video after the cut....
